Mr. Wahju Hanafi, founder of SVS, began our first retail outlet in Mount Hagen in 1986. Since then we have grown to fourteen (14) branches nationwide, with more than 1100 staff composed of 93% national employees and 7% expatriates.

With our head office situated in Lae, we have branches located in the country's major centres of Port Moresby, Mt. Hagen, Goroka and Kokopo with inclusions of minor centres, Gusap and now Tabubil.

The thrust of our sales and marketing strategies has ensured us a wholesaler’s niche in 17 major towns nationwide and recently we have expanded our wholesale market to the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Fiji. We are the appointed agency suppliers of BATA, SINAR MAS UTAMA, PUMA, NIKE, PAKMAYA YEAST and INDOFOOD to name a few in the South Pacific. We are also surveying possible markets in Noumea, Tonga and Samoa.
